Senator Wahls talked about exploring a US Senatorial run during the League of Women Voters' Forum in North Liberty on March 29. He has the ability to explain legislation in a clear and practical manner. As my state senator I have found him approachable. Younger minds and voices are needed as we move forward. I think Zach would work extremely hard to represent all Iowans. He would show up at a townhall, after being in the red zone of the Iowa Legislature he can handle opposition with class and civility.

He very well could advertise, “THIS Zach loves town hall meetings.”

It's worth noting that the last incumbent senator may well have lost because of a scandal. Sen. Ernst will have that baggage as well as being supportive of a disastrous DOGE operation that people with her military background would call FUBAR. Putting that together with her regularly having to defend the indefensible, we could very well have a Democrat take her seat.

I have repeatedly contacted Ernst to express my disappointment with her as a veteran. I would encourage all veterans write or call to tell her to remember and to read her original Oath.

I would encourage everyone to call Joni's office.

I'm soooo disappointed she did not take a stand against Hegseth.

Zach Wahls is exactly what Iowa needs!! I will do whatever I can to support his nomination and campaign.🇺🇸

I would do whatever I can to support his candidacy. Ernst has got to go.

I have been a fan of Wahls since the beginning. Would love to see him run. And who knows what situation Joni will have put herself in by then? She may be helping herself out the door.

The “valuable lesson” that doesn’t seem to have registered with Ernst, yet, is to not confirm alcoholic tv personalities to Secretary of Defense. That chat was entirely about a performance.

Joni's remark at 3:35 in the DOGE video, "most Americans aren't even benefitting in any meaningful way from the hundreds of billions of dollars in the federal budget." I wonder if she feels the same way now, after seeing the mess Elon has has made of the many government agencies he has devastated. I believe Zach Wahls would be great alternative and replacement for Joni Ernst.

ZACH has my vote. I will help knock doors and make calls. I contact Senator Ernst often. I receive a "thank you for contacting me" form response.

(She has shared of domestic violence while married. YET SHE VOTED FOR HEGSETH?) She has more military experience than HEGSETH. Signalgate proves his deficits - which risks lives n ALL AMERICANS' security.

Trump bullied Joni into the vote. SHE IS ALLOWING THE CYCLE OF ABUSE TO CONTINUE.Thank you to Republicans Susan, Lisa and Mitch for having strength Joni did not show.

It would be sweet to see her ass booted from the senate but Iowa democrats suck at voting.

"First thoughts..."---- "Winning Thoughts"-- For 2026---"It's the Economy...!"

Since, at least, the 1970s, the Iowa-American Economy,-- essentially, the manufacturing-industrial base of that Economy--- has been eroding (like the soil/water on Iowa's farms).

This "Great Erosion" resulted in the annual growth of economic fear, uncertainty, insecurity, and poverty among Iowans-American people.

These "Great Iowa-American Fear-Insecurity" conditions, consequently, resulted in the rise of Donald Trump, Joni Ernst, and the Republican Party, generally--- with the Rise of their voter-winning "America First" economic/social agenda.

Like President Obama, they won, under the above conditions, because they offered new, dramatic "Hope and Change"---- with their "America First" economic/social agenda-------while the Democratic Party offered no comparable clear, coherent, long-term message/agenda of Hope and Change!

The Democratic Party will begin winning again, in my view, only when it is willing to renew itself, with new economic/social ideas---ideas that have Iowa-American voter-winning appeal.

In brief, the Democratic Party will begin winning again, when it offers a better economic/social vision/agenda than that offered by the "America First" vision/agenda of Donald Trump, Joni Ernst, and the Republican Party----and not before!

Now is not the time for the Democratic Party to offer New Protest.

Now is the time for the Democratic Party to offer New Vision and New Ideas----New Vision and New Ideas needed, in the 21st century, to move Iowa and America Forward. New Vision and New Ideas needed, in the 21st century, to move American Democracy Forward!
