Thank you, Laura, for allowing me to read your articles. I appreciate it and value the information you provide in your writings. I cannot afford to subscribe to every Substack author so I value those that allow me access to such important information. BTW - I was happy to see someone confirm what I’ve been saying since Feenstra was “appointed” to Steve King’s throne. Feenstra has never (to my knowledge) introduced any legislation benefiting I-04. I am a resident of Spencer and have long been disappointed by Feenstra’s lack of political acumen in this area. I cannot imagine he would be able to muster any more support for the State of Iowa.

You did a really cool analysis of Democratic and Republican registration over time.

Would you do one on split ticket voting and drop off downballot?

Between Sand’s popularity, the damage of tariffs on Iowa, and anti-Republican sentiment because of the souring economy, it seems possible to me that Sand takes the state and therefore the AG and Sec of Ag Republicans are suddenly swimming upstream.
