Beautiful! Thanks for capturing all the signs in their variety and creativity. And I like that you offered an estimate of the number of protesters in Iowa, something the NY Times declined to do.

Thanks Laura for great pictures! Your map missed the protest in Council Bluffs though - we had approximately 500!

Thank you! I have Council Bluffs on my spreadsheet.

Thanks, Laura.

Much the same in Davenport. An estimated 5,000 filled VanderVeer Park, significantly more than the June rally, with every bit the same enthusiasm you've described here. Side note: one of the two tRump supporters, circling the park in their 3/4 ton 4wd pickups got nearly as much coverage as everyone else in the Lee Enterprises QC Times apologia...

great day in Davenport. QCT said 4,000 turned out; I think it was more than that. It was beautiful.

great signs! I grabbed one to be my FB cover photo for a while. I went to DC, obviously lots of great signs there and Bernie came to speak with Mehdi Hasan (Zeteo) just before him).

We were at the Des Moines rally. It was friendly, peaceful, and full of spirit. Love your reporting on the signs, Laura!

I was wondering what the numbers were in Iowa. Big turnout in CR.

I don’t have a firm estimate for Cedar Rapids yet. Seems to have been at least 2,000.

Wonderful selection of pics. I made signs for the back windows of my Corolla, since I was on the road here in SOMN and I received several thumbs up and positive comments!

Thanks for the effort great pictures. I attended Cedar Rapids. Anecdotally, I was impressed by how many older people showed, wheel chair, cain, limp, whatever and all. Also a significant number of younger people. Find it hard to believe that our representatives refuse to acknowledge this. Turmp's feces video clearly shows it got under his skin. Brought my grandson and he had his life experience widen if you will. Important that young people know the present government is a gross aberration of what should be normal for human rights,
