On Sunday, this Substack hit 100 subscribers, so I put up my first “ask me anything about Iowa politics” discussion thread.
My intention was to allow everyone to participate. However, two readers have told me they were unable to post a comment, because Substack told them only paid subscribers could do so.
I’ve reached out to Substack support to work this out. (It would be helpful to hear from more free subscribers about whether a comment box shows up for them on Sunday’s post.)
Meanwhile, I’m trying again with a different kind of post to see whether that allows all subscribers to join the conversation. Ask me anything about Iowa politics! I’ll try to check back regularly to answer questions.
What's your take on some of the DSM suburban state legislative races - Garriott v. Chapman, the Ankeny House and Senate races?
Question about Iowa Politics...how will Iowa ballots be different in November than in past elections (not including candidate names). Ballot initiatives, ability to split ticket, etc.
