Wow, you really have some nerve to NOT understand the difference between full-time, part-time, and GOVERNMENT work. Get well and BE BETTER.

Until the governor and her cronies allow local municipalities to raise their minimum wage. You sir or madam are out of line.

In light of the repeated refusal to fund anything else in state government, directly leading to preventable deaths, this is extra infuriating.

Very interesting - again our Governor shows her true colors - by asking for more money for her office - willing to take money for her staff, who appear to already be paid well, away from our public schools just to start with- I realize the total appropriations won’t cover all of this but - go to our prison correctional officers low staffing, how about mental health hospitals & staff - that additional appropriation could have went to better use - how many terms can this governor serve! I’m so tired of her willingness to slay our public schools, our correctional officers safety, no mental health assistance for those who need it, her stance on not standing up for women’s rights, her stupidity in supporting either DeSantis now & Trump previously just because they have Republican after their name-she’s hoping for some “important job” in either of their administrations (please help us if either get elected) the days of an elected servant serving our state & our people are long gone with the current Republicans in office and Kim Reynolds is a huge disappointment but Iowa Republicans keep voting her in….with the staff she has, who really is in charge? What does she actually do? Who’s making the decisions that come from her office? Her speechwriters???

I'm most upset that Reynolds' sole focus seems to be cutting taxes. The people who will benefit most by that are the wealthy who line her pockets with campaign money. And who will suffer the consequences when she finally achieves her wish and Iowa has NO income tax? ALL OF US! We need good roads & bridges, good public schools, rural 911 systems, nursing home inspections, AEA school services [yes, those are on her block next!], action to harden Iowa poultry farmers against bird flu, maybe use some of the ARPA money to ready Iowa for the NEXT pandemic - because there is sure to be one. But no - Federal money from ARPA was parked in 'reserve funds' to win Reynolds an award for 'fiscal management' from the Repub Govs Conference. I'm sure that will help her make her next big career leap - hope it is FAR AWAY from Iowa, so we can get someone in the gov's chair who actually cares about Iowans.
