In some ways that's just luck--Ohio residents were able to get an abortion rights measure on the ballot, and Kentucky Republicans were arrogant and overconfident. If Iowa Republicans had put that measure to a statewide vote, I am confident we would have voted it down, as Kentucky residents did.

May I add that men can also be included in information outreach. During my early 20’s, my girlfriend decided to have an abortion. Thankfully, she included me in her decision and the process. It was an emotionally difficult time for both of us. I’m sure a lot of men who support their partner’s choice are having a tough time understanding these new restrictions.
