It is obvious you are being stonewalled, Laura. I so appreciate your dogged reporting and attention to detail. This is hard work, and it is so important for us to know how our elected officials and other state employees do their jobs when the election is over.
Thank you much for your "in-depth", "Down the Rabbit-Hole Again" reporting of the Republican Party's "Wonderland" World version of Iowa Government.
Recommendation, concerning future reporting efforts, at the continuing, daily "Tea Party" scene of Republican Party-Iowa Government ---quoting the "March Hare"---"Take some more tea"; and, like the "Cheshire Cat-- remember to keep grinning!
Thanks, again, for your hard-work reporting, from the above "Tea Party"----and--- "Please pass the tea!"
Thank you, again, for all your hard-work, and hard-hitting reporting, regarding Iowa Politics.
Like the title of Francis Bacon's classic, literature-science book of 1605, "The Advancement of Learning"----reading your detailed, in-depth articles, is, indeed, an advancement in learning.
The Reynolds administration has been sorely lacking in transparency. Your efforts to shine a light on how our elected officials are serving/not serving Iowans are valuable and much appreciated.
You again show how you are a light in the darkness - particularly inside of literal mazes of obfuscation created by officials to confuse and mislead ordinary mortals! Thank you.
Thank you for this excellent reporting, Laura! Your effort on this story is truly outstanding. It should be a case study in journalism schools nationwide.
Before he was treasurer, Roby was my senator when I lived in Bettendorf. He was knocking doors in the neighborhood one campaign season and I had the chance to ask him some questions on policy and issues. My impression is he is a very, very dull and non-intelligent person. He was pretty clueless on virtually every issue I raised.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! This is so typical of GOP politicians in our state. Why isn't this a major news story or issue? I am guessing, just a hunch, that most Iowans don't even know this sort of cover-up is even happening. They (we) would not be at all pleased to hear of this nonsense. It is rampant. Can somebody with a voice please shine the truth on this. Please.
Thanks Laura. It's a shame the courts do not force these public employees to obey the law. Keep up the fight. Perhaps some day the right wing justices will not only read the code and enforce it, but also penalize those who refused to fulfill their dury.

Thanks for the encouragement.
Regardless--keep up the hard work---we are depending on you.

Oh Barry, that is so kind.
Great reporting.

It's interesting that he was knocking on doors. Most of the Republican legislators don't do much of that.
I believe it was in his very first campaign.

Perhaps why the state was not knowledgeable about the extra 25 cents/$1000 for vouchers reimbursement to a NY State entity?
