"America First" vs. "New West"---A Tale of Two Political Courses for America!
The journalist, Theodore H. White, in his book, "The Making of the President 1964", said the following: His "image of politics" was "that of an immense journey--the panorama of an endless wagon train...at the head...the leaders quarrel...The leaders disagree continuously as to what course they should take, at what pace, at what cost."
The Democratic Party, in my view, needs a simple, visually vivid, and voter-appealable message/slogan--- a new, politically winning, conceptual framework, for Democratic Party programs and policies---going forward.
In my view, a "New West" message/slogan satisfies all the above requirements. In simple language, it expresses the historical Spirit of America-- of movement, adventure, and national self-renewal, in always beginning over again.
Finally, a "New West" message/slogan also offers a new direction and new course for America, challenging the "America First" direction and course, now offered by the MAGA Republican Party.
USAID is/was heavily integrated into the farm economy. The GOP opposition to the agency does not serve farm states, at all
