Truly ugly and hateful....

The MSM appears to be accelerating its own demise in not forcefully pushing back against the flood of lies coming from the Trump Party.

It’s not “taking sides” when you take the side of truth. It’s doing your job.

When reasoning people do not address systemic failure, it empowers demagogues to absolve themselves and to use operational failure as a weapon of deceit.

Herewith a section from <https://delbertspurlock.substack.com/p/ps>

"Five years ago, the National leadership of the NAACP refused to calendar proposed resolutions for the awakening of its constituent communities to their vulnerably to the ravages of environmental change and industrial pollution.

Herewith a resolve from the Midwest:

OBERLIN, OHIO NAACP UNIT

RESOLUTION FOR NEW All-Volunteer Force (AVF)

AND

SECURITY STRUCTURE FOR CLIMATE CHANGE SECURITY

Whereas the security of the American people is the first obligation of our government, and whereas our government has ignored and dishonored its security obligations to the people in that:

The people cannot be secure if they do not understand and control the means of their security, which understanding and control requires that:

American citizens must know that their security structure is visible and understandable

American citizens must know and trust their security leaders and members

American citizens must have the capacity to evaluate and correct security performance

American citizens must be willing to insist and to civically compel each of the above and all that has been denied the American people by an imperial government.

Whereas America’s security priorities and structure is disadvantageous to poor and particularly black citizens in that:

Government fails to protect those most vulnerable to environmental degradation and change in favor of its commitment of our natural resources and young people to the waste of perpetual war

Government perpetual war robs the black community of some of its most gifted youth and robs the resources to remove toxic landfills, to provide safe drinking water, and to provide the resilience and adaptability to survive the ravages of climate change.

Whereas American’s imperial commitment to a contrived Global War on Terror (GWOT) inherently undermines the domestic security of the American people in that:

GWOT has disabled Constitutional government by its systematic violation of Article I, section 8, clause 11 (Declare War Clause) of the Constitution, and has destroyed the capacity of the institutions of government most capable of meeting the environmental related security requirements of the America people, particularly those in vulnerable Black communities. Among such institutions are:

The National Guard that has been stripped of local missions and organizational capacities, material resources, and local transparency and responsiveness to Environmental threats;

The Army Corps of Engineers, the historical institutional builder, protector and regulator of the American landmass and waterways that is not permitted to engage on the climatological threat analysis to our most vulnerable communities, particularly including our vulnerable Black communities to avoid the competitive comparison to the budgetary waste of war;

The Department of Homeland Security that has never in its fifteen years of existence provided our most vulnerable communities, particularly including our Black communities, with any actual or promised sense of security and has, instead, validated the basis for the disillusion, disgust and incomprehensibility of the nation’s security system;

The All-Volunteer Force as the failed system for building a system of responsive service to the security requirements of the American people in that it has eased the path to unnecessary imperial wars, robbed our communities of our most service oriented young men and women, betrayed them as veterans, and compromised the integrity of our senior officer corps who have treated our volunteers as commodities and not as valuable citizen-soldiers.

Now therefore, The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, does hereby resolve:

That during the remainder of calendar year 2019 until February 28, 2020, local units will identify environmental threats to their respective communities’ viability and sustainability under the guidance of the Association’s Environmental Justice Directorate;

That, a compendium of locally identified environmental threats be authorized for publication at the Annual Convention of 2020 and that the National Convention direct that such local threat analysis be made the subject of study, civic engagement and community awareness in every public school in the United States whose population includes 25 percent Black presence;

That each Association State Chapter before January 1, 2020, engage respective state National Guard leadership to ascertain the level of situational awareness, planning and resource commitments to meet the perceived threats to the most vulnerable communities, particularly including, the black communities, within their jurisdiction;

That each State Chapter identify the underutilization of community environmental resilience capacity building among Black veterans of every war since, and including Vietnam, within the State, and that the National Convention demand of the United States Department of Defense an after-action report (accounting) of the personnel policies, practices and that have resulted in the current levels injuries, including PTSD, among all veterans, brought about by GWOT;

That this Convention of 2019 direct its President to demand of the President of the United States that 15 % of the entering classes of the United States military academies be enlisted veterans of our All-Volunteer Force, who upon graduation as civil engineers will commission in the National Guards of the several states to serve as officers engaged in environmental adaptation and resilience for 15 years;

And that this Convention direct and fund a study to determine why the enlistment age of enlistees in the All-Volunteer Force should not be raised to 20 years six months and that young persons interested in Community military service should first seek cadet (paid) service in a state National Guard unit engaged in civic capacity-building and sustainment."

Illegal immigration has cost US taxpayers billions of dollars (along with billions for foreign countries with no Iowa determinant) preventing those funds from helping Americans in times of need. Spin it the way you wish, but our federal government would have more in their coffers to help Americans if Harris/Biden hadn’t invited millions to come illegally. I just wish you’d agree to house a dozen or do - at your expense.

When will the Republican electorate notice that people in Democratically run states are doing so much better than people in Republican run states? GOP/MAGA is killing their own voters...

What? Democrat run cities are a mess: Los Angeles, Denver, NYC, Chicago, Detroit, Seattle, Portland - shall I go on?

entire Republican run states like Mississippi are like third world countries. Democratic cities will have their issues just because of the large populations but if you cared to actually look at real numbers, these cites are doing rather well. Women in TX and GA have DIED due to draconian abortion bans (which also affect women experiencing miscarriages) which doesn't happen in Democratic areas which respect a woman's right to make her own medical decisions...

Millions of babies have been murdered because of the Democrat obsession with abortion up to birth. I’ll take poorer living conditions in a red state (if the conditions are actually poorer) over a Democrat city mandating Covid shots - proven to be completely ineffective and lockdowns. Which brings up the abortion-fanatics’ “my body , my choice” fallacy.

your opinion is not based on truth. your ignorance might kill you one day. you have the right to be ignorant but you don't have the right to impose your opinions on others. want fewer abortions? get a vasectomy.

The first amendment gives me the right to state my opinion (no improvision as you misuse the word). I know you’d like to get rid of that part of the constitution so you can determine other peoples thoughts, but don’t hold your breath. Had a vasectomy years and years ago. I never needed an abortion doctor to kill my baby. And yes, over the last 50 years, millions of babies have been murdered. Fact.
