I live in Pleasant Hill and received the clear bag on my door Saturday the 14th, containing the absentee ballot request forms and note from the East Polk Democrats. Good idea!
The district’s (and state’s) biggest city with a polluted water supply for 40+ years, Ottumwa with a crumbling, depression era drinking water treatment plant with a nitrate problem, several communities in SW Iowa with nitrate issues, repeated environmental apocalypse on the Nishnabotna, but sure, two issues plus maybe Social Security

I plan to vote early in person but I agree, no downside to distributing these absentee ballot request forms.

If you were running for Congress, how would you frame this issue, either in a stump speech or a campaign ad?
Congress can't even pass a budget or a Farm Bill and they certainly aren't up to anything serious on water pollution.
