Too bad she doesn’t realize that if she REALLY ”made them squeal” when she got to DC (instead of rolling in the squalor with them), she could have the support of a good number of Democrats, too. She’s a disappointment to true patriots that support and defend the Constitution.

Speaking with a broad brush, It seems to me that rural, and suburban voters seem content with this entrenched bunch of politicians and it is frustrating to watch. Democracy dies when uninformed voters don’t see the micropolitan communities’ gutting, even after the whole private education voucher scam was approved last legislative session. I had no idea that the number of women legislators dropped significantly within both of the State chambers. Again thank you for these insights into our ill informed state and national voters, despite the fact that there are stellar micro and metropolitan newspapers doing their best to inform and educate despite wave after wave of ‘free’ social media infotainment platforms.

Laura: Thanks for the link in your Bleeding Heartland piece showing Joshua Smith’s rants on “X”. His unfiltered emotions and grievances are a perfect example of what MAGA has wrought….and why capitulating to that movement continues to be such a horrible mistake (made by a horde of people including Senator Ernst). His attitude reminds me of that of a lynch mob….
